1. Business Structure & Exclusively B2B Trade

Klokan Wine LTD is a registered business in England and Wales. We operate exclusively as a **B2B (Business-to-Business)** wine importer and wholesaler.

  • Exclusion of Retail Consumers: We supply our wine portfolios exclusively to licensed trade premises, including independent wine shops, wine bars, restaurants, and corporate trade accounts. We do not sell directly to the general public or private individual consumers.
  • Licensing Requirement: By initiating an order or requesting trade allocations, you warrant that you are purchasing on behalf of a registered business entity that possesses all necessary local licenses and authorizations (such as a Premises License or Personal License under the Licensing Act 2003) to purchase, stock, or retail alcohol.

2. Inquiry & Ordering Process (Invitation to Treat)

Any descriptions, specifications, or images of wines, vintages, and producers on this website do not constitute a binding legal offer.

  • Inquiries: Submitting a form via our website (e.g. on the Wines or Contact page) is an allocation inquiry only and does not establish a sales contract.
  • Contract Formation: A legally binding contract is established only when we issue a formal written invoice and order sheet confirmation to you, and we receive payment or agree on trade credit terms in writing.
  • AWRS Compliance: As a registered UK wholesaler, we verify the trade status of our clients in compliance with the UK’s Alcohol Wholesaler Registration Scheme (AWRS) before completing any transaction.

3. Vintages, Pricing & Availability

Boutique and artisanal Croatian wines are produced in strictly limited quantities.

  • Vintage Substitution: While we aim to keep our portfolio listings accurate, availability is subject to seasonal allocation limits. Specific vintages may sell out, and we reserve the right to recommend or substitute current vintages upon consultation.
  • Pricing: All prices provided on quotation sheets or invoices exclude UK Value Added Tax (VAT) and excise duties unless explicitly stated otherwise. We reserve the right to adjust wholesale pricing to reflect changes in import duties, shipping tariffs, or exchange rates.

4. Delivery, Risk & Retention of Title

Deliveries are subject to logistical terms outlined in our pro-forma invoices:

  • Delivery: Fulfillments are managed by our bonded warehouse and customs logistics partners. Delivery times provided are estimates only.
  • Retention of Title: Title to and ownership of any wines supplied remains strictly with Klokan Wine LTD and does not transfer to the buyer until payment has been received in full in cleared funds.
  • Transfer of Risk: The risk of damage to or loss of the goods transfers to the buyer immediately upon delivery to the agreed business premises.

5. Website Content & Intellectual Property

This website contains materials owned by or licensed to Klokan Wine LTD, including text, photographs, SVG graphics, logos, layouts, and brand assets.

  • Winery Material: Photos and logos relating to our partner estates (Coronica, Tomaz, Clai, Vislander, Matuško, Roxanich) are the intellectual property of the respective wineries and are used with their permission.
  • Restrictions: You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content from this website without our prior written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

The information on this website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we endeavor to ensure the details of our Croatian terroirs, vintages, and estate stories are accurate:
